Using both Krisp Microphone and Krisp Speaker ensures the proper functioning for the following features:

How to set up Krisp Speaker and Krisp Microphone

To avoid the issues with these two features, you need to select Krisp Speaker along with the Krisp Microphone in a communication app.

1. Make sure to select your physical audio device in the Krisp app as a speaker.

   

2. Go to the audio settings of the app/web-based app you’re using and select Krisp Speaker there.

Why set up the Krisp Speaker?

For Meeting Notes

Meeting Notes are being created based on the audio received by Krisp Microphone and Krisp Speaker. When both audio devices are selected, Meeting Notes include all the speakers from the meeting. If you skip selecting Krisp Speaker, Meeting Notes will consist of only your speech from Krisp Microphone and you won’t get proper Meeting Notes.

For Acoustic Echo Cancellation

The acoustic echo can be experienced in these cases:

• When you are using your computer's built-in speaker or an external loudspeaker.
